QGlide Copyright Policy & Intellectual Property Notice

2. Ownership of Intellectual Property

QGlide Mobility Solutions W.L.L. (hereinafter “QGlide”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is the sole owner or authorized licensee of all intellectual property rights in the QGlide platform, including but not limited to:

• The QGlide name, logo, and brand identity.
• The ride-hailing application and associated software.
• All databases, algorithms, and technology used to match riders and drivers.
• Aggregated ride data and analytics (subject to privacy laws).

This ownership is protected under Qatar Law No. 7 of 2002 on the Protection of Copyright and Neighboring Rights, as amended, and other applicable Qatari laws.

3. Permitted Use

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the QGlide platform solely for its intended purpose:

• Riders: Booking and managing ride-hailing services.
• Drivers: Providing ride-hailing transportation services in accordance with QGlide’s Driver Agreement and applicable regulations.

Any other use is strictly prohibited. This license does not include any right to resell, commercial exploitation, reverse engineering, or unauthorized access.

4. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Copy, scrape, or extract any QGlide Content.
• Use automated tools (bots, crawlers, etc.) to access the platform.
• Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices.
• Infringe upon QGlide’s or any third party’s intellectual property rights.
• Use the platform for any illegal purpose under Qatari law.

5. Trademarks

All trademarks, service marks, and logos displayed on the QGlide platform are the property of QGlide or their respective owners. You are not permitted to use them without our express written consent.

6. Reporting Copyright Infringement (DMCA-Style Notice)

QGlide respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that any content on our platform infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated Copyright Agent with the following information:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
2. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and its location on the QGlide platform.
3. Your contact information (name, address, telephone, and email).
4. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized.
5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
6. Your physical or electronic signature.

We will respond to valid notices in accordance with Qatar Law No. 7 of 2002 and other applicable laws.

7. Compliance with Qatar Laws and Transportation Regulations

QGlide operates its ride-hailing services in full compliance with the laws and regulations of the State of Qatar, including:

• Law No. 8 of 2019 Regulating Road Transport and its implementing regulations.
• All licensing, safety, and operational requirements issued by the Ministry of Transport.
• Driver and vehicle licensing, background checks, insurance, and safety standards mandated by Qatari authorities.

The QGlide platform is intended solely for lawful ride-hailing activities. Unauthorized or unlicensed use of the platform for passenger transportation is strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension and legal action.

8. Reservation of Rights

All rights not expressly granted in this policy are reserved by QGlide. We may update this Copyright Policy at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.

9. Governing Law

This Copyright Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Qatar. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Qatar.
